Important Dates:
May 8th, 2008: Prom
Notes:
Operation Lunch Revival has been proposed and hopefully will be started next week. After recieving many suggestions to fix the poor lunches that are served to us, it was thought up that a survey would be taken from 3 senior class members in each lunch period. Giving us a total of 9 entires. These entires work on a one week campaign. What we are trying to see is if the food gets worse as the day goes on, or if it is just that bad from the start. We are looking for trends and after all of our data is collected, we will construct a letter to be sent to the comminsary downtown (where the food is distributed to all of the schools). Students will be selected at random to fill out the easy to understand paper work.
It was proposed by a senior class member that a cheerleading team be formed. This sounds like a very good idea and will be worked on in the next few weeks.
The Prom Committee has come to the decision that the 2009 junior senior prom will have a New York City Theme. We incorperated about 5 ideas into one big theme in the attempts to make everyone happy. Personally I feel that this is going to be the best prom ever. We have however not come up with a good name for the prom that everyone could agree on. The Next meeting will be Friday after school from 2:30 to 2:45. If you have an idea for a title please feel free to give it to an officer, place it in the Presidential Suggestion Box, or give it directly to Miss C. Look Upon the Walls for New Prom Meeting Information and as always, We are LISTENING!
